FIELD: measuring equipment; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysical investigations in an open shaft of wells drilled on oil and gas, namely to devices for studying electric properties of rocks surrounding well. Technical effect: Probe includes non-magnetic metal housing, two generator toroidal coils and at least three receiving toroidal coils arranged inside body axisymmetric on bases of non-magnetic metal in presence of electric contact between bases and housing, in which for each coil there is an insulating gap. Probe is equipped with non-conducting insert installed in upper part of housing. Next to each generator toroidal coil on one base is installed current measuring toroidal coil. Insulating gap in housing is common for each pair of generator and current measuring toroidal coils. Probe includes also electrostatic screen located between generator and current measuring coils.
EFFECT: high information content analysis of electrical properties of rocks around well.
