FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for stabilising contact lenses involves providing a lens structure with a set of stabilisation area parameters and creating the contact lens structure with the improved stabilisation on the basis of a characteristic of the lens structure parameters in the form of a mathematical construction, modelling the lens structure with the use of a model which provides achieving balanced momentums and model spinning effects, viscous friction effects and elastic energy yield, and selecting a structure on the bases of the modelling procedure. The stages of modelling and selecting the structure are repeated; the virtual model simulating the eye mechanics effects are used to ground the contact lens structure. The above mathematical construction involves the Bezier curve coefficients describing an upper portion of an angular thickness profile, so that inclinations are negative to provide a decreased thickness of an upper portion of a lens periphery, herewith preserving a desired thickness difference of various portions.
EFFECT: optimising the process of the contact lens stabilisation by balancing forces, acting on the lens.
