FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to ophthalmic lenses. A lens comprises an internal optical section, an external peripheral section surrounding the internal optical section, an intermediate section between the internal optical section and the external peripheral section, and a lens edge of the external peripheral section. The lens edge is configured for improved alignment, rotation, displacement or lachrymal exchange and has a continuous, out-of-round and out-of-plane shape. The second version differs by the fact that the lens edge is configured for improved alignment, rotation, displacement or lachrymal exchange and has a continuous, out-of-round and out-of-plane shape. The third version differs by the fact that the lens edge is configured for improved alignment, rotation, displacement or lachrymal exchange and has a continuous, round and out-of-plane shape. The fourth version differs by the fact that the lens edge is configured for improved alignment, rotation, displacement or lachrymal exchange and has an interrupted, out-of-round and out-of-plane shape.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions provides the improved working characteristics of ophthalmic lenses alongside with higher comfort.
