FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a longitudinal sealing mechanism, which is movable between the operating position during manufacture and the non-operating position during its short stoppage. The device also comprises a finger roller automatically movable from the non-operating position to the operating during a short stoppage of production in response to movement of the sealing mechanism for separation of the longitudinal edges of the packaging material tube so that they do not stick incorrectly to each other. The method of prevention of incorrect sticking of the packaging material comprises movement of the sealing mechanism from the operating to non-operating position, the automatic movement of a mobile finger roller during a short stoppage of production in response to movement of the sealing mechanism from the non-operating position to the operating for separation of the longitudinal edges of the tube. The filling machine comprises a device described above.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides increase in quality and productivity.
