The machine of mower conditioner type comprises a mechanism of mowing grass, equipped with a cutting device, a system for squashing grass, means for lifting these elements relative to the frame, and the tunnel of the grass discharge. The unit of mowing and squashing has a casing. The tunnel of the grass discharge is located in direct continuation of the squashing system and is pivotally connected to the frame. The casing is hingedly connected to the tunnel via the axis mounted from above and slightly behind the system for squashing grass.

EFFECT: invention provides the grass laying on the soil as a uniform layer.
