SUBSTANCE: rotary mower with a device for intensifying the grass wilting comprises a bearing beam with rotating rotors 2 and blades hingedly mounted on them. On the rotors 2 the vertical drums 4 with flanges 5 in the lower part are rigidly fixed. In the upper part the drums 4 have removable lids 8 to prevent ingress into the drums 4 of plant mass. Outside on the surface of each drum 4 two curved plates 11 are fixed, mounted obliquely at an acute angle relative to the direction and plane of rotation of the rotors 2 with the drums 4. The outer edges of the plates 11 have a variable radius decreasing in the direction of rotation of the rotors 2 with the drums 4 and not exceeding the radius of the cutting edge of the hingedly mounted blades.

EFFECT: curved plates 11 provide the creation of fluffed and well aerated rolls of grasses, that contributes to their intense wilting.
