FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device to control the lamp signalling system of vehicle's braking is intended for monitoring and diagnostics of the braking lamp signalling systems. The device comprises a power unit (7), an indication unit (11), a current relay (17). A driver checks the diagnostics and monitoring of the vehicle's braking lamp signalling system by observing light pulses of different emission colour of high-brightness light-emitting diodes (12) and (13) and by listening to the sound signal of a sound source (16). The light pulses of different emission colour are projected either on the vehicle brake pedal or on any other element of the lower dashboard part which is available for the driver's direct and peripheral viewing. The driver sees blue colour of the LED (12) lighting his leg at releasing the brake pedal - the electric circuit and its elements are in good order. The driver sees red colour of the LED (13) lighting his leg at releasing the brake pedal and hears an alarming sound signal - one of the stop lamps (19) has burnt out or the glowing force of the lamps (19) is reduced due to the reduction of current in their power circuit caused by the oxidation of contact joints in the electric circuit.
EFFECT: monitoring of operability of an electric circuit and of elements of vehicle braking lamp signalling system.
