FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: LED lamp for railway traffic lights with reactive ballast comprises an electric circuit with a bridge, fuse, a body made as a standard base of filament lamp of ZhS-12-15+15 or ZhS-12-25+25 type and reactive ballast represented either by a ballast capacitor or an inductance coil or a saturable transformer or an autotransformer. The device is equipped with a circuit disconnecting the lamp from the mains when supply voltage is available and emission of light-emitting semiconductor or semiconductors is unavailable; the circuit is controlled by a sensitive element place at optical visibility with the light-emitting semiconductor.
EFFECT: improved reliability and reduced power consumption for the traffic lights lamp due to usage of reactive ballast; the lamp is completely replaceable by conventional double-filament lamps.
