FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: accumulation material for saturation with atomic and/or molecular substances used is spherical micro-size material, which consists of nano-size two-dimensional spirally, radially and axially arranged graphite plates with a single centre. The disclosed accumulation material is characterised by presence of a developed surface of graphite plates. To solve the problem, the invention also discloses a method of producing accumulation material for saturation with atomic substances and/or molecular substances, which includes separating spherical graphite from high-strength cast iron, removing silicon oxide and iron oxide impurities, separating the obtained mass according to size, cleaning by removing unbound graphite particles from the surface of the spherical graphite and splitting.
EFFECT: wide range of means of accumulating and storing substances in an atomic or molecular state.
