FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering. The agricultural harvester comprises a grinding unit for grinding the harvested material and a chamber located under it for optical perception of the harvested material and generation of its images. The chamber is connected to the image processing device made with the ability of recognition in the generated images of edges of the grinded harvested mass and detection according to them of characteristics of the grinded harvested mass. The image processing device is made with the ability of assignment to the various factions of grinded harvested mass on the basis of the contour of the edges and the contrast contour.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to provide differentiated definition of quality of the grinded harvested mass with the comfortable service.
