FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to gas turbine shaft magnetic flaw detection. Proposed bench 10 for testing of gas turbine shaft 12 comprises elongated tool 14 to be fitted inside the part and equipped with endoscopy means with UV illumination of the part inner surface and detection of possible flaws. Besides, there are means for setting opposite the marks to be latched with tool marks 32 uniformly distributed over at least the tool part for precise control over tool displacement and position in part 12. Magnetic tubular part flaw detection process comprises the steps that follow. (a) Tool is fitted in controlled part via its one end to required position therein. Note here that said position is defined with the help of means for setting opposite the marks to be latched with tool marks. (b) Tool is locked and part is spinned about is axis for analysis of the part inner circular zone by tool endoscopy means. (c) Tool is displaced inside the part by one step in lengthwise direction unless said setting means are engaged with the mark of tool. (d) Steps b and c are repeated unless the completion of part control over the required length.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and precision.
