FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic shock resistant shutoff valve comprises a casing connected with a main line, a shutoff element set coaxially to the main line section being shut off and made as a thin-walled hollow cylinder with a bottom and a conical mounting surface. A mating conical mounting surface is located in the casing at the inlet to the shutoff main line section. The inclination angles of the generatrices of the conical mounting surfaces of the shutoff element and the casing do not exceed friction angle. The casing cavity on the side of the shutoff element bottom is communicated with the control pressure supply line. The inlet to the shutoff element cavity is closed by a partition which opens under the action of excessive pressure of liquid. The partition at the shutoff element cavity inlet is made as a leaktight free penetration membrane. The latter is installed by a sealed joint.
EFFECT: reduced time required for the communication of the shutoff element cavity with the main line section being shutoff in the course of shutting off and improved leakproofness of the shutoff element cavity when being in the operating liquid before the main line is shut off.
