FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automatic control system for a harvesting head of a feller buncher. The system comprises a hydraulic circuit for grab arms' drive, a hydraulic circuit for lifting and lowering of a grapple boom, a hydraulic circuit for a cutting attachment drive. The hydraulic circuit for lifting and lowering of a grapple boom comprises an electrically controlled hydraulic distribution valve and a hydraulic valve "OR" with one its inlet being connected to a hydraulic servocontrol unit and the other - to the hydraulic distribution valve. The hydraulic circuit for a cutting attachment drive includes a normally closed electrically controlled hydraulic valve which is connected to the pumping line of a hydraulic motor and is fitted by a time relay for electromagnet switching-on delay until the stage of active cutting by the cutting attachment, as well as a sensor - pressure relay with its input being connected to the electrically controlled hydraulic valve. The hydraulic line of the cutting attachment's hydrocylinder "supply" cavity is fitted by a normally open electrically controlled hydraulic valve with a time relay for the delay of its switching off. The system is equipped by an additional subsystem for electrical control of the said hydraulic circuits with its control tool being electrically coupled to the connector of voltage for the additional control subsystem, an ON/OFF switch for the electromagnet of the electrically controlled hydraulic distribution valve in the hydraulic circuit for grab arms' drive control, an ON/OFF switch for the electromagnet of the additional electrically controlled two-position hydraulic distribution valve in the hydraulic circuit for the boom lifting and lowering, an ON/OFF switch for the electromagnet of the electrical control valve in the hydraulic circuit for cutting attachment drive control, an ON/OFF switch for the electromagnet of normally open electrically controlled hydraulic valve in the hydraulic line of cutting attachment's hydrocylinder "supply" cavity, a relay to control the time of retracting the cutting attachment to the initial position.
EFFECT: improved reliability of control system for operating members of a feller buncher due to the decreased number of their actuations in the process of cutting, felling and bunching of trees, due to reduced number of harvesting head control errors in the course of the most complex operation: gripping and cutting of a growing tree.
