SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forest harvesting operations and can be used for harvesting and processing trees on assortments. The forest harvester comprises a base platform with the driver, a rotating platform with a hydraulic manipulator and the harvester head. The hydraulic manipulator of the device is mounted on the rotating platform over the operator's cab. At the end of the manipulator handle a beam is hingedly mounted. At the free ends of the beam the harvester head is mounted with the ability to turn in the space on the one side, and the hydraulic gripper for assortments on the other side.

EFFECT: increased productivity, reduced energy intensity and unhandiness of the design.
