FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: at bending test with 3 T to 11/2 T as per GOST R 52146-2003 the method involves hot rolling of a low-carbon steel strip containing the following substances, wt %: carbon 0.02-0.05, silicon maximum 0.04, manganese 0.12-0.25, sulphur maximum 0.018, phosphorus maximum 0.020, chromium maximum 0.05, nickel maximum 0.06, copper maximum 0.08, aluminium 0.025-0.070, nitrogen maximum 0.007, iron and unavoidable impurities making the rest. Afterwards the strip is subject to reeling in a roll, etching, cold-rolling, degreasing, continuous annealing, application of zinc coating with the weight of maximum 300 g/m2, cooling, pinch pass rolling and reeling in roll, the temperatures of hot rolling end and reeling are set as 830-900°C and 670-720°C respectively, continuous annealing of a cold-rolled strip is carried out under the temperature of 680-820°C, pinch pass rolling is performed with cobbing of 0.4-1.2%, then zinc-coated strip is flattened.
EFFECT: increased strength of rolled metal with polymer coating.
