FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises steel melting, continuous rolling, water cooling; strips reeling, cold rolling, recrystallisation annealing, application of zinc coating and straightening. Melted steel contains following in wt %: carbon 0.16-0.20, silicon 0.15-0.30, manganese 0.30-0.50, aluminium 0.02-0.05, sulphur max. 0.02, phosphorous max. 0.02, chrome max. 0.30, nickel max. 0.30, copper max. 0.30, niobium 0.010-0.030, iron and inevitable admixtures - rest. Hot rolling is finished at 850-950°C. Strips reeling is performed at 510-650°C. Strips straightening at bending-stretching machine is performed with elongation 0.4-0.6% to thicknesses below 1.5 mm, and elongation from 0.2% to 0.4% for thicknesses above 1.5 mm. The strips straightening at bending-stretching machine can be performed with tension 8.5-14 t, and prior to straightening dressing of the hot galvanised rolling can be performed.
EFFECT: assurance of required yield strength to produce reliable material for steelworks manufacturing.
