SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a household device (HG), in particular, to a household dishwashing machine containing at least a transmitting interface (U) that may be connected to external indication means (EA) via a signal transmission line (SV). According to the invention, upon completion of the treatment process the household device (HG) is disconnected from the electrical mains that feeds the household device (HG) with electric energy; before the household device (HG) disconnection from the electrical mains, especially, close to the moment of the treatment process completion, a signal (Scompl) for activation of the external indication means (EA) may be transmitted via the transmitting interface (U) to reflect at least information on the treatment process completion.
