METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYGRAPHOLOGISTS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2529418 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: polygraphologist is instructed to perform a test. The polygraphologist and person being tested is suggested to perform a test with using a simulator. The simulator is made of a cardboard in the form of a hexagonal prism consisting of a pre-set number of closed sliding numbered cells combined into a pre-set number of sectors each of which consists of a pre-set number of levels. After being instructed, the person being tested and unassisted by the polygraphologist selects an identifiable object and places it into one of the numbered cells for the purpose of concealment. Thereafter, the polygraphologist examines the person being tested in the form of questions and answers for the purpose of typing the identifiable object, locating the sector, level and number of the simulator cell wherein the object has been placed. That is combined with reading out a collection of the input parameters from the poligraphologist's sensors connected to the person being tested. The identified object is typed, and the sector, level and number of the simulator cell are located. The decision of the polygraphologist's readiness is made by comparing the expected results obtained by the polygraphologist to the data taken from the person being tested. A degree of polygraphologist's result reliability and proficiency is assessed, and the results are used to make a decision on a necessity of further trainings.

EFFECT: method enables reducing time for polygraphologist preparation, time for examining the person being tested, improving accuracy of examination results.
