METHOD OF PSYCHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL POLYGRAPH TESTING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2669733 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, interactive psycho-physiological polygraph testing. Test-taker is asked questions of the test, the parameters of the emerging psychophysiological reactions are determined and analyzed and a judgment about the predominance of one of the mutually exclusive versions regarding the involvement of the test-taker in the actual circumstance, event or action are made. In this case, the questions of the test are constructed in accordance with the concatenation using four types of questions: NQ – neutral question, CQ – control question, SQ – significant question, ChQ – check question. Content of the verification questions concerns all possible variants of the involvement of the test person in the actual fact, event or action that took place. Significant question is added to each test question, while the content of significant questions concerns the risk factors associated with the violations of the tested person in the ordinary life, violations of discipline, violations of the law. Further, the received psychophysiological reactions to the test questions are compared among themselves, and the test person's response to a significant issue is used as a standard of reaction expression when compared with the test person's response to a test question. In particular, with the use of appropriate sensors, evaluate any of the following parameters of psychophysiological reactions or any combination of the following parameters of psychophysiological reactions: a) heart rate, b) amplitude-frequency characteristics of the heartbeats, c) respiration rate, d) amplitude-frequency characteristics of the respiration, e) electrical resistance of the skin, f) voice, g) amplitude-frequency characteristics of the voice, h) diameter of the pupil of the eye, i) amplitude-frequency characteristics of the size of the pupil of the eye. Parameters of psycho-physiological reactions received after presentation of test questions, are compared among themselves in pairs between test and significant questions for revealing in each pair of that question which has caused the most essential change of an estimated parameter of psychophysiological reactions. Testing for the same person is carried out repeatedly, and the received data is loaded into a computer database for further comparative analysis.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the reliability, reliability and accuracy of test results, reducing labor and testing time.
