FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining composite alumozirconium ceramic material, which possesses dense structure and can be applied in medicine for manufacturing implants and medical instruments. Composite ceramic material is made on the basis of aluminium in alpha-phase with particle size less than 1.0 mcm and as additives, contains zirconium oxide, stabilised with yttrium oxide, in combination of monoclinic and tetragonal phases, aluminium oxide nanopowder and cordierite. Aluminium oxide nanopowder is in combination of alpha- and theta-phases with particle size less than 100 nm. Aluminium oxide nanopowder is introduced in amount to 5%, with cordierite being introduced in amount to 10%. Particles of zirconium oxide have size less than 0.8 mcm. Nanopowder of zirconium oxide can be additionally introduced as additive in any phase in amount from 0 to 5%.
EFFECT: composite ceramic material possesses higher mechanic strength parameters: bending strength higher than 500 MPa, crack resistance 5,5-6 MPa·m0,5, compression strength 600-800 MPa.
