SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods of electromagnetic mapping. Geophysical electromagnetic mapping onboard system comprises aircraft with fixed wing, receiver coil assembly, and winch system with towing rope secured to receiver coil assembly to transfer receiver coil assembly to mapping position and set of latches for mounting at aircraft bottom side. Said set has unfolding locks for engagement of receiver coil assembly when it is in pulsed-in position. Receiver coil assembly consists of tubular frame that makes the continuous internal channel extending around central open area. Note here that receiver coil is located inside inner channel. Geophysical electromagnetic mapping onboard system comprises also the receiver coil signal processing hardware, said signals being composed by electromagnetic fields created by terrain being mapped as the response to electrical events occurring under natural conditions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of aircraft mapping.
