FIELD: physics, geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to onboard geophysical survey. Receiver coil assembly comprises semirigid outer shell with vertical length smaller than its horizontal length. Outer hell includes multiturn receive coil with air central area and at least one receiver solenoid coil. Every receiver coil tracks the change in magnetic field separate component and has axis at known angle to that of the other receiver coil. Receiver multiturn coil with central air area has vertical axis. Receiver solenoid coil comprises multiturn winding with ferromagnetic core and has horizontal axis. In compliance with second version, coil assembly comprises two receiver solenoid coils. Note here that receiver multiturn coil with central air part extends around the shell tubular outer part. First and second solenoid coils are kept at known positions relative to receiver coil with central air part.
