FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in a drive plate chain the engagement with the sprocket teeth is provided directly by inner plates, and hinges are formed by free placement of smooth cylindrical rollers directly in the holes of the inner and outer plates. The chain is characterised by a standard pitch by outer links and a shortened pitch by the inner links and is geared with the sprockets with even number of teeth and widened recesses.
EFFECT: improved chain durability.
