FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gearing comprises sprocket and chain with even number of links. Chain outer plates (6) overlap partially. Inner link sleeves feature different length. One sleeve (3) is longer than the other one (2) by total thickness of two outer plates (6). Sprocket rim complies with chain pitch and can be varied by removal of every second tooth. At seat of elongated tooth wider recess is made to receive the chain inner link. Claimed is the formula for calculation of the sprocket pitch circle diameter.
EFFECT: decreased material input, longer life, improved gearing.
