SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and compositions for inhibiting growth of susceptible organisms by contact of said organisms in presence of peroxide and chloride with myeloperoxidase and, at least, two amino acids, enhancing its activity. Composition for elimination or inhibiting growth of pathogenic microorganisms, where composition mainly consists of myeloperoxidase, glycine, L-alanine, L-proline, glucose oxidase and water carrier, and application of said composition for preparation of medication for treatment of infection in human or animal. Binary composition for elimination or inhibiting growth of pathogenic microorganisms includes (a) first composition, mainly consisting of myelopeoxidase, glycine, L-alanine, L-proline, glucose oxidase and water carrier, and (b) second composition, including glucose in water carrier, and application of said composition for preparation of medication for treating infection in human or animal.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased efficiency of elimination or inhibition of growth of pathogenic microorganisms.
