Disclosed recovered version of the antimicrobial peptide, having an amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, where said variant has antimicrobial activity against gram-negative bacteria and contains amino acid sequence any of SEQ ID NO: 70, SEQ ID NO: 72, SEQ ID NO: 87, SEQ ID NO: 218, SEQ ID NO: 248, SEQ ID NO: 308, SEQ ID NO: 350, SEQ ID NO: 435 or SEQ ID NO: 450. Method of producing peptide involves cultivation of host cell containing polynucleotide, coding described peptide in conditions suitable for expression, and extraction of said peptide.

EFFECT: presented inventions can be used for treatment an infection caused by gram-negative bacteria.
