FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of mortar and cannon fire by guided munitions, including guided missiles. Additionally, target elevation is defined relative to target designator to set universal computer time in missile. After missile launch, flying missile terrain geo location is performed with the help of satellite navigation hardware and second higher-priority target is detected. Then, azimuth, elevation and distance to second target are measured by target designator. Second target geo location is performed at path finder board to transmit second target coordinates therefrom to fire position control board via digital radio communication channel. Settings for missile fire on second target are computed and transmitted to missile via digital radio communication channel to turn and guide missile to second target. Besides, message on job on second target is transmitted to fire position control board.
EFFECT: missile in-flight retargeting at fire to over 50 km on moving or second higher-priority target.
