FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed drive is designed to open manned spacecraft landing device. Air drive comprises power cylinder, first and second pressure control valves, first valve being communicated with motion initiation instruction generator, air inlet being communicated via air line with compressed air source and air outlet being communicated with power cylinder head end. Second pressure control valve is connected with one-way rod position indicator. Said valves are composed of two pneumoelectric valves while one-way rod position indicator is composed by electric pickup and second valve is composed by one-way rod position indicator. Air inlet of second valve is communicated via air line with second compressed air source while its air outlet is communicated via air line with power cylinder brake chamber.
EFFECT: piston deceleration at the stroke end.
