FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a switching device for switching of medium- and high-voltage devices with switches whereof at least one of contacts is a moving contact operated by an ejection discharge. Injection discharges are connected considering shooting time. Two or more individual switches are connected in series, at that ejection discharge of the first switch may provide direct electric ignition while that ejection discharge or electrical igniter of the second or subsequent switch is galvanic isolated from the first one.
EFFECT: provision of effective and fast disconnection in the circuit of short-circuit protective device designed for high-voltage.
