FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: high-speed switching device (1) for a high-power battery (2) in an isolated DC circuit (3), in particular a DC circuit of a submarine, wherein the high-power battery (2) comprises several parallel-connected battery modules (4) with respectively one branch (5) or several parallel-connected branches (5) of serially connected battery cells (6) of high power. One or each of the branches (5) has mains voltage of the isolated DC circuit (2), comprises for each of the battery modules (4) a corresponding high-speed switching unit (12), which comprises a circuit (8) of parallel connection from a diode (9) connected in direction of charging current transmission: the battery module (4) and a power semiconductor switch (10) connected in direction of discharge current transmission, wherein the circuit (8) of parallel connection is placed in a connecting conductor of the battery module (4) to the DC circuit (2), and wherein the switching condition of the power semiconductor switch (10) can be controlled by a monitoring and control device (11). The monitoring and control device (11) is configured such that for disconnection of the discharge current of the battery module (4) in the connecting conductor (7) by means of switching of the power semiconductor switch (10) into the non-conductive state, it interrupts the discharge current flowing in the connecting conductor (7).
EFFECT: increased efficiency of discharge currents switching.
