FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions deals with compositions for the oral cavity care, which contain halogenated diphenyl ether as an antibacterial agent, and a method of solubilisation of halogenated diphenyl ether in the composition. The essence of the claimed group of inventions consists in the following: it is suggested to use the combination of sodium lauryl sulphate and hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin for solubilisation of halogenated diphenyl ether in the composition, which contain halogenated diphenyl ether in the combination with a desensitizing agent - potassium salt, selected from potassium nitrate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, potassium bicarbonide and potassium oxalate, with specified quantitative ratios of components.
EFFECT: application of the group of inventions makes it possible to obtain compositions with an improved solubility of halogenated diphenyl ether - triclosan, and overcome difficulties, emerging because of incompatibility of potassium ions and sodium lauryl sulphate in the process of the composition preparation.
