SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of personal care, in particular - to shaving means. According to the razor blade manufacture method, a steel strip is cut into individual blanks. The blanks have an elongated edge and an elongated support part extending between the pair of butt-end surfaces that are, on the whole, perpendicular to the elongated edge. The elongated edges are sharpened to form a cutting face. The blanks are deformed for formation of a curved part from them. The butt-end surfaces are subjected to treatment to remove cracks prior to the deformation stage, until mean roughness is 0.45-1.00 mcm. The razor cartridge includes a body and a curved blade between the protective element and the cover. The blade contains a cutting face, an elongated support part, a curved part and a pair of butt-end surfaces. The butt-end surfaces are positioned crosswise relative to the cutting face and have mean roughness equal to 0.45-1.00 mcm.

EFFECT: prevention of appearance of microcracks on the blade during bending.
