FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for lining of high-temperature metallurgical units. The fire-resistant product for the lining of high-temperature units includes the top and bottom surfaces, side surfaces, internal side wall and external lateral wall. The external lateral wall of the product in the cross-section along the whole height of the product is made along the sine wave curve, meanwhile the surface of external lateral wall has the raised and lowered parts, alternating one after another. Height h of the raised part of the surface of the external lateral wall amounts 3-35% from the thickness of the fire-resistant product. The fire-resistant product can have the shape of wedge or right parallelepiped.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the lining resistance of high-temperature units.
