FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining aluminium nitride includes the preparation of a mixture of aluminium and aluminium nitride powders in a ratio of 1÷5-1÷2 and one or some additives, selected from the group AlF3, Na3AlF6, NH4Cl, NH4F, (NH4)3AlF6, or a mixture of aluminium powder and an additive of ammonium hexafluoroaluminate or a mixture of ammonium hexafluoroaluminate and ammonium chloride or fluoride, placement of the obtained mixture in a closed reactor, local inflammation of the mixture and synthesis in a burning mode under the pressure of nitrogen of 0.2-5 MPa.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain powder of aluminium nitride with an equiaxial or spherical shape of particles of high purity and a broad range of values by the particle size and specific surface.
