FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of adapting the form of printing dots created in the manufacture of printing forms for relief printing, and can be used for printing on a variety of substrates such as paper, cardboard, corrugated cardboard, films, foil and laminated materials. In the method of controlling the shape of a plurality of relief dots created in the process of digital manufacture of printing forms on the photosensitive preform, the latter comprises a laser-removable masking layer located on at least one light-curable layer. The masking layer is applied directly or indirectly to at least one light-curable layer. The method of controlling comprises the step of laser ablation of the laser-removable masking layer to create a negative in the laser-removable masking layer. In addition, the method comprises the step of applying directly on the created negative of the barrier membrane which comprises at least two resins. Then exhibiting of at least one light-curable layer with actinic radiation is carried out directly through the created negative. After that the exposed photosensitive preform is developed with an image in order to display of a relief image on it, comprising a plurality of relief printing dots. The form of relief printing dots is changed or adapted by changing the type at a ratio of at least two resins. The relief printing dots have at least one geometric characteristic selected from the group comprising a plane of upper surface of the printing dots, the shift angle of the dots and the acuity of the boundary of the printing dots. These steps are optionally performed in the said order, and at least two resins are shellac and polyvinyl butyral.

EFFECT: providing the opportunity of obtaining various forms of dots and targeted regulation of dot form by changing the ratio of the membrane components.
