FIELD: printing plate used as a chliche for direct impression of image. SUBSTANCE: the plate is a plate with at least one relief printing section for relief printing made with a preset additional pattern in the form of cuts for intaglio printing and designed for application of printing ink or foil over its entire surface. The plate is made of copper, magnesium, zinc or steel, the additional pattern is formed by cuts, 81-to-600 μm, obtained by etching, having walls whose each surface in the area of the plane of the relief printing section is made perpendicular to the mentioned plane, and the wall surface in the area of the bottom is made inclined to the side opposite the lying wall. EFFECT: enhanced density of the lines on the relief printing section of the plate, and enhanced definition of the boundaries of the lines, which reduces the production cycle, enhances the capacity and facilitates the saving of the dyeing material and foil for etching. 5 cl, 5 dwg
