FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition contains (wt %): molybdenum powder (Mo) 84-92, powder of potassium perchlorate (KClO4) 4-10, boron powder (B) 2-8. The composition is prepared by mixing initial components in a ball grinder. The composition has the following characteristics of burning: rate of burning 156-262 mm/s; specific heat emission 195-388 cal/g; specific gas emission 0.6-1.5 cm3/g.

EFFECT: in the process of the composition burning formed are solid slags, which do not change geometrical sizes of an initial pressed composition at large speeds of burning, as well as with the preservation of the critical width of burning and specific heat emission.
