FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. The method comprises feeding the feed to the trough (1) and the feed movement by the vehicle along the feeding front. The feed is loaded into the trough at its two ends, and the vehicle provides counter-movement of feed from the download location. The unit for implementation of the method comprises the vehicle placed along the trough (1), the box (5) mounted under the bottom of the trough for placement of the reverse branch of the vehicle, the feeding bin of the feed (7). The vehicle is designed as two chain-and-slat conveyors mounted ensuring counter-movement. The end of the box (5) remote from the feeding bin (7) is attached to the visor (6). The visor is made radially and mounted ensuring coverage of turning the chain-and-slat conveyors.

EFFECT: uniform distribution of feed along the feeding front is provided without any limitation of access of animals to the feed in the process of distribution.
