SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to control fuel supply, which consists in the fact that fuel pressure is created with the help of a high pressure fuel pump (13), fuel is supplied into a high pressure hydraulic accumulator (6), certain pressure level is set in it with the help of a high pressure control valve (14), maximum voltage is applied to a piezodrive of a nozzle needle (1) with a multiplier, the needle is moved to a seat, and fuel is cut, fuel is sent for drainage via the high pressure control valve (14) of the high pressure hydraulic accumulator (6) during cutoff. Voltage below the maximum value is supplied to the piezodrive of the nozzle needle (1), the needle and the piezodrive are moved upwards due to fuel pressure, fuel is supplied under the needle, fuel injection is carried out. With the help of the proposed method at least one preliminary injection may be carried out, as well as at least one main injection and at least one injection after the main one. Besides, the device is proposed to realise the method of fuel supply control.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of dosing of quantity of injected fuel and optimisation of fuel combustion process.
