SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber harvesting using suspended cable systems when transporting timber through the water surface from unequipped difficult land plots and timber loading to water vehicle. The method comprises harvesting and haulage of timber to shore loading point with the subsequent formation of the pack and its transporting by means of the bearing cable and the carriage to the water vehicle and loading. According to the invention, the transportation of packs to the water transport is carried out using the device consisting of several inflatable floating supports in the form of inflatable arch structures, fixed with the lower parts, as well as extensions to inflatable elliptical bowls. At that the self-moving carriage is used, which has a drum with a kit of hoist ropes with chocker grapples and moving on the synthetic carrier rope, which, coming from the single-drum winch attached on the shore, passes inside the inflatable arch structures and is restrained by the L-shaped shoe. The shoe with the help of the power cable-cord system is attached to the upper part of the inflatable arch structure.

EFFECT: invention provides the reload of timber without the use of a crane.
