FIELD: logging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for development of a cutting area. Method for development of a logging site includes preparation, skidding, transportation through a water obstacle and loading of wood on a rolling stock, at that operations of preparation, transportation through a water obstacle and wood loading are performed by one rope forest transport system. At that, route for bearing rope is selected with reference of main and intermediate loading points, boundaries of vowels and skid hauls are marked, rigid supports are mounted at main loading station and upper point of the platform. Inflatable intermediate supports are mounted on water surface and on shore, supporting cable is mounted and tightened by means of winch, having previously installed on it logging carriages, one for timber skidding to intermediate loading station on shore, another one – for wood transportation through water obstacle to the main loading point, with further possibility of timber loading onto rolling stock.
EFFECT: higher labor productivity and overall efficiency of development of cutting areas located on mountain slopes behind natural water obstacles.
