FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: prechamber of an internal combustion engine comprises a body, a threaded hole for installation of a spark plug, a threaded section for screwing of the prechamber into a head of cylinders, an ignition chamber of cylindrical shape, a bottom with holes in it, at the same time the bottom is made spherical, and the total area of holes is made as more than the area of cross section of the ignition chamber. The bottom is made in the form of a semiball. Holes are made as radial, of cylindrical, conical shape with expansion towards the outlet.

EFFECT: more reliable ignition in start-up of an engine at lower temperatures, more complete combustion of a fuel and air mixture and increased reliability.
