FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to energy machines and may find application in transport and in heat power engineering. An internal combustion engine comprises at least one cylinder with a piston, a head of cylinders, an igniter, includes a spark plug and a prechamber with a cavity having a threaded hole for installation of the spark plug, and a threaded section for screwing of the prechamber into the head of cylinders, a chamber of ignition of cylindrical shape, a bottom with holes in it, differing by the fact that the prechamber is made of two parts, into the first one the spark plug is screwed into, and the second one is screwed from the inner side of the head of cylinders and comprises a cylindrical part and an inner body, inside of which there is an additional cavity, holes are made in the form of slots directed at the angle to the plane of the piston, and there is a groove at the end of the piston against the prechamber. Axes of the cylinder and the igniter may be combined or arranged at the angle.
EFFECT: reduction of dimensions of an igniter, increased efficiency of a spark discharge and increased reliability of ignition.
