FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine igniter comprises the laser spark plug screwed in the antechamber provided with the bottom with outlets. Note here that said bottom incorporates the extra cavity composed of a part of the sphere, its ID being larger than the ignition chamber ID. Said extra cavity houses the central cowling arranged along the antechamber axis and shaped to the cone, its vertex being aligned with the extra cavity centre while laser spark plug focus being aligned with the cone vertex. Total area of said outlets can be larger than the ignition chamber cross-section area. Said extra cavity can be shaped to a hemisphere or a portion of the ball, its volume being larger than half the ball geometrical volume.
EFFECT: decreased sizes, higher ignition efficiency, fuel saving, higher reliability.
