FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for supply of a reducing agent or its precursor substance to outlet system (19) of exhaust gases (EG) formed at operation of a non-stationary internal combustion engine (ICE) (14). At implementation of the method proposed in the invention, first, reducing agent moment is set. Then, EG parameter and/or required amount of the reducing agent is determined, and the state of the reducing agent, in which its supply shall occur, is set. After that, the reducing agent is subject to treatment in case its state in which its supply shall be performed does not correspond to the state of the reducing agent from its stock. Finally, the reducing agent is supplied to EG outlet system (19). The above stages are implemented with their multiple repetition.
EFFECT: providing maximum full conversion of a reducing agent; providing selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides; reducing quantity of electric energy required for conversion of the reducing agent.
