FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: locking mechanism includes a cage having an upper part attached to a lower part through a detachable connection. A locking mechanism located inside the cage and having two mounting surfaces. A sealing assembly installed between the upper and the lower parts of the cage. When the locking element is in Closed position, the first mounting surface of the locking element tightly locks the sealing assembly, thus preventing a leak between the locking element and the cage. The valve seat is located inside the hole made in the valve. When the valve is in Closed position, the second mounting surface of the locking element comes into contact with the valve seat, thus shutting off the fluid medium flow between the inlet and the outlet chambers of the valve. The locking element has a body part, the dimensions of which provide for tight seating from inside to the first hole in the lower part of the cage, and a head part, the dimensions of which provide for tight seating from inside to the second hole made in the upper part of the cage. The head part forms the first mounting surface and has a diameter that is larger than that of the body of the locking element. The sealing assembly includes a seal and a limit stop that retains the seal during movement of the locking element between Open and Closed positions, and the seal has C-shape.
