SUBSTANCE: gate mechanism of a valve comprises a valve seat (216) and a shutoff element (214) which is pressed to the valve seat (216) in the course of operation. One of the elements - the shutoff element (214) and the valve seat (216) - is fitted by several circular collars (222), and at least one of the elements - the valve seat (216) and the shutoff element (214) - forms at least one groove (218) located between at least two circular collars (222) to receive the material from the sealing surface (220) between the shutoff element (214) and the valve seat (216), when the said shutoff element (214) is in close contact with the valve seat (216). The circular collars (222) have angular section facilitating the collection of material in at least one groove (218).
EFFECT: improved design.
