FIELD: physics, control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of simulating mobile aerial targets and can be used in testing antiaircraft systems and training calculations thereof. The apparatus includes a small-size aircraft-type radio-controlled target equipped with a jet engine, an angle reflector and a parachute, a ground-based control station and a pneumatic launcher. The small-size target is based on a "flying wing" aerodynamic scheme and is provided with two turbojet engines and two four-cell angle radio-reflectors. The latter are placed inside a fuselage, are directed towards the lower hemisphere and are turned by an angle of 45° from each other. The bases of the reflectors lie in a common plane. The parachute has a colour which contrasts with the background colour of the surface of the earth in conditions of all seasons. The launcher is portable and the target system is placed in one van.
EFFECT: broader technical capabilities of the system, high reliability and universality thereof, high quality of combat training of anti-aircraft gunners.
