FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measurements and can be used for measurement and recording of intensity of an electrical field in a wide dynamic range. The device includes an electromechanical modulator made in the form of a rotating screening electrode and fixed measuring electrodes, and input amplifier, the input of which is connected to the measuring electrodes, and an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and a microcontroller, which are connected in series. Besides, ADC input is connected to the input amplifier output. The first output of the microcontroller is an output of the device, and the second output of the microcontroller is connected to the input of the controlled EMF source, the output of which is connected to the screening electrode of the electromechanical modulator. The controlled EMF source is implemented in the form of in-series connected digital-and-analogue converter (DAC) and a scaling amplifier with low output resistance. Besides, DAC input is an input of the controlled EMF source, and the output of the scaling amplifier with low output resistance is the output of the controlled EMF source.

EFFECT: increase of sensitivity of measurements of electrical field intensity in a wide dynamic range.
