FIELD: measuring processes and equipment, namely devices for measuring humidity of loose materials such grounds.

SUBSTANCE: humidity meter includes circuit for measuring complex dielectric permeability of materials. Said circuit includes connected in cascade saw tooth voltage generator, HF generator, humidity sensor on base of HF resonator whose capacitance is partially used as measuring one, amplitude detector, low frequency scaling amplifier, first analog-to-digital converter. Meter also includes circuit for measuring material density having connected in cascade pickup for metering density of investigated material, second scaling DC-amplifier and third analog-to-digital converter; micro-controller generating signals for controlling operation modes of meter, for storing and processing received data; control unit forming orders for driving meter; memory unit for storing received data and power source.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and efficiency of measuring humidity of loose materials.
